Yaks, large Himalayan-dwelling animals closely related to cattle or bison, are known for their strength and endurance as they endure freezing temperatures and high altitudes. The Yeti, or Abominable Snowman, a myth to many, is a reality to a few explorers and hardy Sherpas.
